Saxophone Duets 15 EARLY DUETS for Young & Young-at-Heart Saxophone Players NEW
Throughout my career teaching public school instrumental music at all levels for 27 years, I was always disappointed in the lack of quality, original duets for young players that are not the same simple folk song duets found in most books. I am confident that these duets will fill that gap for saxophone players. They are also great for older beginning students. The range throughout these duets is 1st line E (rare) to G# above the staff (later). I’ve made an effort to include a variety of styles throughout, and am very pleased with the result. All the duets are original, and will be fun to play for young students, or even older students just beginning saxophone. The duet book contains both parts on attached staves, and is printed on heavy, quality 67 lb. paper, and is plastic comb spiral bound. Stapled books are also available – just ask. Each of the 15 duets is a page long. They start with no rhythm faster than quarter notes; eighth notes and dotted eighths are introduced gradually. The duets are fun to play as well as being solidly educational and musical. I will ship within one day of receiving your order.
